Combined Colleges Boathouse, Cambridge - Boatman
£21,129 to £23,782

Churchill, Selwyn and King's Colleges and the Leys School are seeking to recruit a boatman, male or female, to manage their combined boathouse at Logan's Way, Cambridge and to support and supervise the rowing activities of the three colleges.

We are seeking someone with enthusiasm for rowing, experience of coaching and working with young people, some skills at repair and maintenance of boats and of the premises, and the willingness to undertake menial tasks, including routine maintenance and cleaning of the boathouse. This will involve some lifting and physical hard work at times.

This full time post will have a variable hours annual contract with a minimum of five weeks' paid holiday per annum and work concentrated during the term time, including some weekends. A salary on a scale of £21,129 to £23,782 is offered. Subsidised accommodation may be offered in due course.

The closing date for applications is 21 May 2013 and interviews will take place in Cambridge on 28 May 2013.
