The Hahn Fellowship in Economics
Frank Hahn was an Economist of international stature whose attachment to
Churchill College has been both unstinting and hugely fruitful. His presence
attracted the young economists in Cambridge and the future Nobel laureates
from the USA such as Kenneth Arrow, Robert Solow and Eric Maskin.
Frank was a Founding Fellow, Director of Studies and College Lecturer in
Economics.
“I, and many other young people, not just economists, were enthused and
mentored by Frank in a way that has moulded our careers and lives ever since.
Above all he challenged us to think differently and uncompromisingly.”
The Hahn Junior Research Fellowship aims to attract the brightest and best
to come to Cambridge to pursue their research and at the same time provide
stimulating teaching for Churchill undergraduates.
You can assist the future generations of Churchill Economists by helping us
to raise the £1 million needed to endow the Hahn Fellowship in Economics
