The raw material of history is at risk - and we need your help to save it.
The Churchill Archives Centre, a non-profit organisation, houses the papers of Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, and many other leading politicians, diplomats, military leaders and scientists of the 'Churchill Era' and beyond. Yet without a sustainable source of funding, the future of these outstanding collections remains in doubt. Located at Churchill College, Cambridge, the Archives Centre is the equivalent of two American presidential libraries but receives no direct public support. Instead, it relies on the generosity of foundations and individuals such as you.
Your donation will be used to help conserve vulnerable collections, acquire new materials, provide specialist equipment and materials, and meet special project costs. Even a small gift can make a vital difference in underwriting these priorities. All donations are fully tax-deductible. To support the Archives Centre, you can either use the Cambridge in America giving page, or complete our Gift Form, which can be downloaded as a pdf file for use with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Please indicate your wish that your donation be directed to the 'Winston Churchill Archives Centre', and return the form to the Cambridge in America offices in New York.
With your support, the Archives Centre will be able to realise the true global potential of its collections. Thank you for helping us ensure that the raw material of history stays intact for future generations.
