Jumbo. Jumbo was initially designed as a device to encase the bomb and prevent the scattering of plutonium if the chain reaction failed. However, this plan was later abandoned and Jumbo was placed instead under a steel tower 800 yards from ground zero. The tower was destroyed by the bomb blast but Jumbo survived and remains at the site to this day.
