Drawing from the papers of the geophysicist and founding fellow of Churchill College, Sir Edward Bullard, illustrating his dynamo theory of the earth's magnetic field. This image also features in an exhibition on the first 50 years of science and technology at Churchill College from 11 October-3 December 2010.
