A view of the archives which the public don't normally get to see. This is just a section of the papers of Sir John Major (the whole archive numbers over 800 boxes), recently deposited at Churchill Archives Centre. Sir John's archive will go alongside the papers of his fellow prime ministers, Sir Winston Churchill and Baroness Thatcher, though it will remain closed for several years, while it is conserved and catalogued.
