Churchill and Russia: Online Exhibition

Churchill, now First Lord of the Admiralty in Chamberlain's wartime Cabinet, delivered this famous comment on Russia in his first wartime broadcast. His observations were made in response to news of the Soviet-German Boundary and Friendship Treaty, signed in Moscow just two days earlier.
