Churchill and Russia: Online Exhibition
Churchill made two trips to Moscow during World War Two.
On his second trip, Stalin took him to the Bolshoi Theatre,
where he was accorded a standing ovation. Clementine's warm
letter refers to Stalin as "the old Bear", and
sends love from "all three kittens", Winston
and Clementine's three daughters - Sarah, Diana and Mary.
