Dr Geoffrey Kantaris

I teach Spanish and Latin American literature to students at Churchill, although my Fellowship is based at St Catharine's College. I'm also a Senior Lecturer in the University's Department of Spanish and Portuguese. My interests are in Latin American literature and cinema, but I also teach the Introduction to Hispanic Texts course for post-A-level first-years in Spanish. I'm currently writing a book on contemporary urban cinema in Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico, and have also published on women's writing and dictatorship in Argentina and Uruguay.
