Graham Farmelo is Senior Research Fellow at the Science Museum, London, and Adjunct Professor of Physics at Northeastern University, Boston, USA. After spending twelve years at the Open University, where he was Chairman of the its Science Foundation Course, he joined the Science Museum. He set out the initial vision for the Wellcome Wing (the world's first museum wing devoted exclusively to contemporary science and technology) of which he was Director of Exhibitions. Subsequently, he was Assistant Director of the Museum and Founding Director of the Dana Centre. Now an international consultant in science communication, his biography of Paul Dirac The Strangest Man was published by Faber in January 2009
