Ben Dantzer obtained his PhD in the Department of Zoology at Michigan State University. His research focuses on understanding the interaction between the physiological mechanisms facilitating adaptation and the evolutionary strategies free-living animals use to cope with environmental change. His research integrates ecology, evolutionary biology, behaviour, and endocrinology. His current research as a postdoctoral research associate with Prof. Tim Clutton-Brock at Cambridge focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of individual variation in cooperative behaviour in wild animals.
