Cuppers is the Cambridge University intercollege Tournament. For Badminton, it is held every Lent term and is open to applications from all colleges. Teams can include university players, whereas the intercollege league does not permit this. A charge is made to enter a team, which then may or may not have to play qualifying matches before the all day tournament is held. The tournament is a straight knock out situation, and competition is high.
