The aim of this seminar is to provide a cross-faculty and
interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of research on world cinema by
graduates and established scholars. Guest speakers will be invited from
outside Cambridge, both from the academic world and the film industry.
The seminar will be held fortnightly, and will consist of two to three
papers of up to thirty minutes. Ample time will be allowed for questions and

Postgraduate conference in film studies: In association with the Cambridge
University Film Seminar, CRASSH are seeking postgraduates in any field
willing to organise a conference relating to film studies, to be held in
2005.
