Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner who has never thrown a disc before, you're more than welcome to come along and play ultimate with Churchill. We usually enter at least two strong teams into the Cambridge College League and Cuppers tournaments, and we usually do very well! For 2010-2011, we will also be looking to enter teams into external tournaments. Our success comes directly from being open to everyone, our focus on enjoying ourselves and our reluctance to take ourselves quite as seriously as many other sports teams like to do.

In case you're not quite sure what Ultimate is, it's basically a game played by two mixed-sex teams of seven, involving a pitch with two end-zones, a disc and a lot of fun. Have a nosey around the internet if you want to find out more (the Wikipedia article isn't a bad explanation), or even better, come along to a Churchill practice and find out from first-hand experience. You can start coming at any point in the year even if you have no past experience; you can come as often (or not) as you like, and although of course we'd love to see you as much as possible, we won't hate you if you don't turn up regularly.
