Let us know what you're doing!
Please fill in the log book in the garage whenever you use the boats - it's our only record of how much use the boats get and helps when asking the college for more money!
If you want to book the boats in advance, then put a note in the logbook in the garage. Hopefuly we'll get a diary instead of the log book soon.
If you're going to grafham, and have spare places in your car, then please email chu-sail@lists.cam.ac.uk to see if anyone else wants a lift.
Breakages, Damage etc.
If you break or damage anything then please try and fix/replace it if you can. Small items can be purchased from the Jonti chandlery at Grafham. Keep the recipt and get it reimbursed from the sailing club account. If you can't fix it then email chu-sail-managers@lists.cam.ac.uk so that we know what's happened and can set about getting it fixed. In either case, put a note in the log book in the garage so that we can see if a particular problem re-occours.
We're more worried about keeping the boats in good order than blaming you for breaking something, so please tell us if you do!
The boats are fully insured, so if there is any major damage or loss, or if you hit someone elses boat then let us know and we'll give you an isurance claims form.
Grafham Rules (summary)
Bouyancy aids to be worn at all times
Wet/Dry Suits to be worn November - April
Sailing areas/experience required are indicated by the flags flying at the waterfront
You have full use of the changing rooms, bars etc at Grafham.
There are various Grafham Newsletters, sailing books etc, kept in the Sailing Club pigeon hole.
