Zoe Margolis

Zoe Margolis is also known as 'Abby Lee', or the 'Girl with a One Track Mind' is a blogger, author and journalist.

Six years ago, Zoe began writing her blog — Girl With A One-Track Mind, which with complete honesty, detailed the ins-and-outs of her sex life, and her thoughts and feelings about the subject matter. Zoe decided to write about sex in her blog because she felt that the feminist and female-centred perspective was missing from mainstream media. Her blog sought to provide a counter-balance to this old-fashioned attitude.

With over 7 million readers, the blog has become hugely popular and won the Bloggie Award for Best British/Irish Weblog in both 2006 and 2007. The Observer newspaper also ranked it at number 24 in their Top 50 Most Powerful Blogs in the World list.

Under her pseudonymn —'Abby Lee', Zoe published a book based on the blog in 2006. The book has sold over165,000 copies of the UK edition alone, and has been translated into fifteen languages with plans to develop it into a screenplay and adapt it for the stage. Her follow-up book 'Girl with a One Track Mind: Exposed' was published by Pan Macmillan in 2010.

Zoe spends most of her time writing and speaking about blogging, tech, feminism and sex. Zoe hopes to try to use her media presence in a productive and postitive way; such as being an ambassador for the young people’s sexual health charity Brook, and raising debate about the double-standards around sex and raise awareness of the need for good sexual health.
