Discover Your Future at Churchill College’s Undergraduate Open Days
Open Days at Churchill College: 9 & 10 July 2026
During the University-wide Open Days on 9th and 10th July, Churchill will be open to give you a taste for how our students live, work, and spend their time – and how close everything is in practice.
All our facilities are located on site at our extensive 42 acre campus. This includes all our accommodation, libraries, study areas, social spaces, catering facilities and sports facilities. Academic work and everyday life sit alongside each other here, rather than competing for attention.
How to reach us
Churchill is just off Madingley Road, with easy access from the Park & Ride. Many Open Day visitors begin or end their day here, before or after visiting other Colleges or academic departments in the city centre.
You don’t need to book to attend Churchill’s Open Days! Just show up!

Understanding Churchill College
All Cambridge students follow the same academic courses through their University Departments. Visiting different Colleges will help you to see what daily life and living arrangements are like in different Colleges.
Visiting Churchill will help you to understand:
- how living in a College based on a single site, rather than a College split up around the city, can affect students’ experience;
- how a large College can help students to make connections inside and outside their course; and
- how the College’s structure and layout can support sustained academic work over time.
Churchill is designed to support serious academic work. It hosts spaces to think, people to think with, and an environment that houses and supports students throughout their studies. Visiting will allow you to see how that works in practice – and whether it feels right for you.
