Churchill College is the national and Commonwealth memorial to Sir Winston Churchill and one of the thirty-one colleges of the University of Cambridge.
On our large site on the west side of Cambridge, we provide accommodation, study and recreational facilities for the majority of our undergraduates, postgraduates and a number of Fellows. Also on site is the Churchill Archives Centre, which houses the papers of Sir Winston Churchill and other important figures from the twentieth century, and the Møller Centre, which provides Executive Education training facilities and programmes. The College itself also has a thriving conference business.
The College has over 140 permanent employees, excluding academic staff, and has a friendly and informal working atmosphere. We offer flexible employment packages, and have a strong commitment to training and professional development.
Benefits include:
Pension scheme
One free meal per day when on duty
Free car parking on site
Modern working environment
Sports facilities
25.5 days' annual leave plus public holidays
All non-academic posts were evaluated in 2008 using the HERA (Higher Education Role Analysis) scheme. Churchill was the first Cambridge college to implement HERA, which has also been used by the University of Cambridge and 127 other universities and colleges of higher and further education. As a consequence of HERA all salaries and gradings are in line with the College's equal pay policy, and the College is able to fulfil its commitment to equal pay for work of equal value.
Further information about HERA can be found on the ECC website.
