Domestic Bursar's Assistant

Churchill College is seeking a Domestic Bursar’s Assistant. The post holder will provide general administrative and diary support to the Domestic Bursar as well as providing administrative support to the Fellows’ Steward and Wine Steward.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential to this post together with good IT, literacy and numeracy skills. The job holder will deal a wide range of contacts including Fellows, students, staff and commercial customers and so must have appropriate communication skills and judgement in order to present themselves well in writing, on the telephone and in person. Some familiarity with Cambridge colleges and University would be an advantage but is not essential. The job holder will be required to undertake some work outside of normal working hours in the run-up to events, usually remotely via email.

This role is offered on a 0.5 FTE basis (which is 18.75 hour per week) with a working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.
