Alan Platt was an undergraduate from 1993-97 in Engineering.
Passionate about Technology, Alan combines a strong technical background in software, electronics and mechanical engineering with experience of solving real world problems for non-technical customers. He has developed and launched numerous new products and has strong international experience, having managed teams in the US and Europe and taken products to market across the globe.
Alan’s experience covers a wide variety of industries from Broadcast and Film through to Pharmaceuticals and Software. He has held executive and board roles in Engineering, Sales, Marketing and General Management. Today, Alan is CEO of CyberHive, a growing cybersecurity company which launched their cutting edge patented technology to the market in 2018. He is also using the broad experience he gained to mentor numerous start-ups and high growth tech companies as well as acting as a non-executive director and strategy consultant to larger companies.
