SUMMARY:Churchill Business Network: Enterprise and Investing in Entrepreneurs
DESCRIPTION:This term’s Churchill Business Network will focus on making enterprising ideas into reality\, as well as investing in such projects.\n\n\n\nWe’ll commence with short presentations from our speakers with expertise in this field\, move to an audience Q&A\, and finish with informal networking over a drink or two. \n\n\n\nThe event takes place in the elegant surrounding of the Oxford and Cambridge Club on Pall Mall. Please note the Club has a strict dress code for all attendees\, this is not the choice of the College. \n\n\n\nThis event is for Churchill alumni/students/Fellows (who may each bring one guest) only\, and is not otherwise open to the general public. \n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\n\n\n\nDr Eva Benyei\, G20\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr Eva Benyei is a trained medical doctor with a PhD in Biochemistry and is the co-founder of ETA Technologies. He advises and mentors AI-centric startups and university spin-offs\, primarily in the B2B space\, with commericalisation and growth strategies\, capital raising and go-to-market programmes. One of his mentees\, recently won first prize at the Cambridge Enterprise Postdoc Business Plan competition. \n\n\n\n\n\nDr Gemma Siddall\, G15\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr Gemma Siddall is an Investment Associate at Cambridge Enterprise working on building the Ventures team’s ability to invest in and support sustainability.
