You are warmly invited to this year’s Association Weekend on 21–23 September 2018

Family and friends are very welcome to come along and experience our welcoming and unique environment.


Programme

Friday 21 September

Choose between two exciting speaker events from 6pm to 7.30pm, and then between a light supper and wine tasting of College wines led by the Fellows’ Wine Steward, or join Fellows at High Table from 7.30pm.

  • 7.30am–9.30am: Breakfast in the Dining Hall.
  • 10am: Room check-out time (left luggage room will be available).
  • 10am–11am: Chapel service: led by Revd Julie Norris. All welcome.
  • 11.10am–12.30pm: Tour of Ascension Parish Burial Ground, to include the resting place of Founding Master Sir John Cockcroft, with Professor Mark Goldie. Meet at the Chapel at 11am for 11.10am start. (Please note this involves a ten-minute walk to the location and uneven surfaces once there. Suitable outdoor shoes are recommended.) Booking essential, maximum 25 places.
Afternoon
  • 12.15–1.45pm: Lunch is available for purchase in the Dining Hall.

Dress Code

Daytime events: casual.

Dinner: You are welcome to wear black tie or equivalent. If you wish to be less formal, please do so.


Accommodation

College accommodation

We are pleased to offer a variety of options at College, including single, twin and double ensuite, as well as hotel-standard accommodation in the new Cowan Court. (Please note that all Cowan Court rooms are double rooms, though a single occupancy rate is available.) Please book accommodation online via the pink booking link below.

Møller Centre accommodation

The Møller Centre also offers a discount to Churchill alumni for accommodation. Please contact the Møller Centre directly on T: 01223 465500 or  E: reception.moller@chu.cam.ac.uk for availability and bookings.

Special student rates

Churchill students wishing to attend any of the Weekend's events may book College accommodation at a special student rate. To make a booking, please contact the Accommodation Office directly on E: accommodation@chu.cam.ac.uk.


Donations

We would be grateful for donations to subsidise the lower cost of the Association Dinner to recent graduates and current JCR and MCR members. Any surplus donations raised will go towards the Oral History Project. Your donations can be made via the booking form below. You can donate to other College funds at this link.
