This year, Churchill Connections will be visiting the Churchill War Rooms in Whitehall, a must-see for any Churchillian

They comprise the Cabinet War Rooms, the underground command bunker from which Winston Churchill and his government directed operations during World War Two, and the award-winning interactive Churchill Museum, exploring our founder’s life and legacy. Notable features are the Transatlantic Telephone Room, the British end-of-the-world’s first hotline connecting Churchill with President Roosevelt, the Map Room, and Churchill’s office-bedroom.

Churchill Connections seeks to bring together alumni to visit and explore places with a link to Winston Churchill and/or Churchill College.

We meet at the entrance to the War Rooms at the bottom of Clive Steps at 11:00am sharp to enter and be received as a group.
