Peter Brooke is a Lecturer in Imperial and Global History at the University of Oxford. Peter studied at Christ’s College, Cambridge and King’s College, London where he also taught colonial and modern British political history. In 2016 he held an Archives By-Fellowship at Churchill College, Cambridge, kindly supported by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust.

Peter has previously published on Enoch Powell and the politics of immigration in 1960s and his forthcoming monograph on Duncan Sandys and the informal politics of Britain's late decolonisation will be published later this year.
