A debate about the architectural competition for one of the first Cambridge colleges of the modern era…
In 1959, four architectural teams were short-listed to design

• Howell Killick Partridge & Amis
• Richard Sheppard Robson & Partners
• Stirling & Gowan
Architects Alison Brooks, Claudia and Patrick Lynch, Tom Emerson of 6a and Elain Harwood of English Heritage will present the original schemes to a panel of architects and critics chaired by Paul Finch.
The panel of critics are MJ Long, Peter Carolin, David Dunster and Clare Wright.
The audience will include many distinguished architects, historians, journalists, academics and students.
The Architectural Journal will be reviewing the evening in a four-page article.
