Join us at a talk featuring alumnus Dr Antonio Weiss (U05) at the Oxford and Cambridge Club in London on Monday 28 October 2019. The talk will focus on the history of management consultants in government.

Dr Antonio Weiss is a management writer and advisor. He is a Director at 2020 Delivery, one of the United Kingdom’s leading public service management consultancy firms. He has written for a number of publications, including the Financial Times, Guardian, Prospect, and been featured on BBC Radio 4 and other international media. He received his PhD in History from Birkbeck, University of London. He is also a London Borough Cabinet Member, and affiliated researcher at the Bennett Institute, University of Cambridge. Based on interviews with senior politicians, civil servants, consultants, and years of archival research, Antonio Weiss will present the findings of his latest book through an entertaining talk which reveals how, since the 1960s, management consultants have been key partners in many of the major transformations of the British state.
