In The Art of Uncertainty\, he gives readers a window onto how we can all do this better. \n\n\n\nEntry is free but this is a ticketed event and booking is essential. The event will be followed by a drinks reception at 7pm. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBook ticket\n\n\n\n\nProfessor Sir David Spiegelhalter\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProfessor Sir David Spiegelhalter FRS OBE is Emeritus Professor of Statistics in the Centre for Mathematical Sciences at the University of Cambridge\, a Fellow of Churchill College Cambridge\, and a Non-Executive Director of the UK Statistics Authority.  His bestselling book\, The Art of Statistics\, was published in 2019\, and The Art of Uncertainty in 2024.
