SUMMARY:Graduation in Person - 2 May 2026
DESCRIPTION:Booking for in-person graduation on 2 May 2026. This ceremony will primarily be for students graduating from postgraduate courses or receiving their MA degree. This is our preferred MA date for the undergraduate 2019 matriculation cohort. \nMA Degrees\nIf you hold a Cambridge BA\, you may proceed to the MA not less than six years from the end of your first term of residence\, providing that you have already graduated with your BA degree. Once you have received confirmation from the Tutorial Office that you are eligible\, you may register to receive your MA degree in person or in absence. \nAlumni MA Dinner\nThe Alumni Office will be holding a formal dinner on the evening of 1 May 2026 in the Dining Hall at Churchill College for the 2019 undergraduate cohort proceeding to their MA degrees. If you wish to attend\, please use the graduation booking form below to book your place. The cost of the dinner is £25 for alumni and £49 for guests\, of which you may bring a maximum of 2. There will be a seating plan for the dinner\, so please do indicate who you wish to sit with. The dress code for the event is lounge suit/smart business-wear\, and the ticket price includes wine. \nIf you have any queries about the dinner\, please contact the Alumni Office. \nPraelector’s Lunch\nOn the days of degree Congregations\, the Praelector hosts a lunch for those taking degrees in person. Lunch is free for all graduands and guests are welcome. If you wish to bring any guests to the lunch the cost is £32.25 per head. The graduation lunch will be held in the Dining Hall\, unless otherwise stated. \nA timetable of the day will be e-mailed to you approximately one week before the congregation\, when timings of the ceremony are known. \nPlease note: Bookings will close on 12 April 2026\, however\, there will be a cap on numbers for this graduation ceremony\, and therefore the form may close prior to the deadline. We recommend booking as soon as possible to confirm your place. DESCRIPTION:Alumni and their partners are invited to another opportunity to dine at High Table at our Sister College on Sunday 3 May. \n\n\n\n\n\nWe will meet for pre-dinner drinks in the Beer Cellar bar from 6.30pm\, followed by dinner in the refurbished Dining Hall at 7.15pm. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe cost of the 3-course meal will be £34\, to include 2 glasses of wine\, or £26.50 without wine. Please use the booking form below. \n\n\n\n\n\nDress code is smart/lounge suit. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDue to the event being in term time\, accommodation is not available at Trinity. The College recommends checking the University Rooms website for alternative options in Oxford. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets are strictly limited so be sure to book early for this popular event. Please note that due to the limited capacity\, alumni may bring only one guest each.
