The second in our new 'Superbugs and Beastly Botanicals' programme of family-friendly events, join alumni and their kids for a picnic lunch in Regent’s Park before heading to the Open Air Theatre for the Saturday matinée performance of the monstrous musical Little Shop of Horrors.
Meet up from 12 noon in Queen Mary’s Rose Gardens inside the Inner Circle; look out for the Churchill scarf. Wet weather plan is the Regent’s Bar and Kitchen. Alumni not wishing to go to the musical are very welcome to come just for the picnic.
Book direct on the Regents Park Open Air Theatre website for the 14:15 matinee on Saturday 1 September. Tickets start at £25 and £12.50 for under 18s.
Recommended age 11+ (children under 4 not admitted): Little Shop of Horrors is a spoof musical based on the 1950’s B-movie horror genre. Whilst an affectionate tribute to these movies, the production is likely to be more suitable for secondary school age and over. Please note that children under the age of 4 are not permitted to the theatre or theatre grounds for this production.
