11am: Alumni rowing opportunity (see below)
Dress code: Formal. This is a black tie event, although smart business attire is acceptable. Fellows attending the dinner will wear MA gowns, but this is optional for alumni. Hoods are not worn.
Accommodation: Please note that due to the popularity of this event and demand for rooms in College, we now have very limited availability of rooms, and none of the lower-priced single rooms. If you would like accommodation in College, please book your dinner ticket(s) using the form via the pink button below, and email the Alumni Office who will let you know if any rooms are available. Alternatively you could try calling the Møller Centre directly on 01223 465500.
CCBC and the College are pleased to invite alumni who would like to relive past glories on the river for a informal rowing outing the day after their reunion. It doesn’t matter if you have not rowed in decades, as this will be a very gentle outing. This will involve meeting up at the Combined Colleges’ boathouse at 11am on Sunday 7th July. Current members of the boat club will be on hand to bank party and also show you round the new boathouse which was opened in 2016. Please email us if you are interested, stating whether you row bowside or strokeside, or cox.
Many alumni have told us that they like to see a list of people who have booked to attend events such as this one, as it can influence whether they choose to come. You can indicate whether you are happy for your name to be included on the list in the link above by answering the required question on the booking form. Please note also that the list will be updated manually in batches, so your name may take some time to appear further to booking, and this does not imply that your booking has not been received.
Churchill College would like to stay in touch with you and store your up-to-date contact details in order to send you publications and invite you to events such as this one. You can update your contact details via our form at the button below. By supplying such details you consent to us communicating with you by those methods. We take the storing and processing of your data seriously and you can read more in our full data protection statement.
Please see the following link for a list of alumni with whom College has lost touch. If you are in contact with any of them, we would be grateful if you could let them know about this event and ask them to contact us if they would like to attend.
The booking form allows for one alumni ticket per request, so alumni couples will need to submit two separate bookings. Please note that bookings for this event will close at midnight on Sunday 23 June.
