How are Standardised Aptitude Tests (SATs) regarded by the College?

We welcome applications from candidates presenting College Board qualifications (i.e. Advanced Placement Tests (APs) and SATs). Our normal offer levels are published on our Typical Offers webpage [link https://www.chu.cam.ac.uk/study-us/undergraduates/typical-offers/]. SATs alone are not sufficient for Cambridge entry: they should be supplemented by other public examinations (e.g. APs). However, they can give us an indication of academic potential and enhance a portfolio of qualifications. Freestanding SAT2 qualifications, for example, can be useful for applicants to science subjects. Competitive applicants usually have an aggregate score in excess of 2100 in SAT1 and close to 800 in relevant SAT2s.
