What weighting does the College place on the BMAT scores of applicants for Medicine/Veterinary Medicine?

Scores in the BMAT are correlated with performance on our Medicine/Veterinary Medicine course and we use these data as part of our holistic assessment of candidates. There is no fixed weighting given to the BMAT: other indicators of academic potential (academic references, exam results, predicted grades, etc.) are also important. However, as a guide, successful applicants to Churchill in the last admissions round averaged 6.2, 6.7 and 3.2 in sections 1, 2 and 3 of the BMAT, respectively.
