Bram completed his PhD at King’s College Cambridge (2017) and is now Assistant Professor of Latin at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He is visiting Churchill College in Easter Term. The main purpose of his visit will be to work, together with Maya Feile Tomes (Cambridge), on an edition, with translation and commentary, of an 18th-century Latin Columbus epic written by Spanish Jesuit priest José Manuel Peramás.
Bram’s other research interests include the history of classical scholarship, late antique Latin literature and commentaries, classical reception in its various forms, and Neo-Latin literature.
