Jon Roozenbeek is a By-Fellow in Psychology at Churchill College. His research focuses on online misinformation and the design of interventions to counter the problem at the individual level. His background is in journalism and media studies, writing his PhD thesis about media narratives in the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk “People’s Republics” in eastern Ukraine. Jon’s other research interests include socio-informatics, content analysis, vaccine hesitancy, and preventing violent extremism.
