Professor Anderson is a Senior Research Fellow at Churchill College.

Ross Anderson is Professor of security engineering at Cambridge, where he teaches at the Computer Laboratory. His work is often driven by the problems arising in real-world systems such as payment networks, medical record databases, industrial control systems, next-generation networks and mobile phone software. His research interests have ranged from cryptography and protocols through hardware tamper-resistance and software reliability to the social-science aspects of security, such as security economics and the psychology of deception. He is also engaged with policy issues such as privacy and consumer protection online.
