Churchill College plays leading role in major international commemoration of Sir Winston Churchill

January 2015 is the fiftieth anniversary of the death and state funeral of our founder, Sir Winston Churchill.  It is also the seventy-fifth anniversary of his “finest hour” in 1940, and the seventieth anniversary of the end of the Second World War. To mark these Churchill anniversaries, the various sites, charities and organisations with a connection to him have come together to create “Churchill 2015”.
