From the Collection: Night Suite (A-E) by Robyn Denny (1972)

Edward Maurice FitzGerald "Robyn" Denny (3 October 1930–20 May 2014) was one of a group of young artists who transformed British art in the late 1950s. They were the first British artists of the post-war years to take his influence from American Abstract Expressionism.

Churchill College has been named as having the highest percentage of state school admissions amongst Cambridge Colleges this year. 

Second meeting of the Churchill Business Network

It was fantastic to see so many alumni at the second meeting of the Churchill Business Network at the end of April at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall.

Bennett Institute for Public Policy launched

We were delighted to hoste the launch of Cambridge University’s Bennett Institute for Public Policy on 16 April, named after Churchill alumnus and philanthropist Peter Bennett (U75).

Student support in action

Churchill has one of the highest proportions of undergraduate entrants from the state sector amongst Oxbridge colleges and an unusually high number of undergraduates from very financially disadvantaged backgrounds. We recently interviewed a range of undergraduate students who have received bursary funding to let them tell their stories.
