We are very excited to bring you advance notice of a staged reading of Lady Randolph’s Churchill’s never-before-seen play, Between the Devil and the Deep Sea, an intense drama about divorce and honour in aristocratic society. An as yet undiscovered piece of Churchill history will be brought to life on stage on 12 May,7pm in the Wolfson Hall at Churchill College.

Lady Randolph Churchill is one of the most glamorous figures to feature in the Archives Centre’s collections. This small set of images gives a taste of her elegance and style. We’re delighted to support Holly Dayton in organising this event and will bring you further details as soon as we can. For now, please save the date in your diaries.
