Churchill alumna Nicola Spaldin (U88) has been named the 2017 European Laureate in the 19th annual L'Oréal-Unesco For Women in Science Award for her work on reinventing magnetic materials for next-generation electronic devices.

Churchill Fellow and Director of the Cambridge Social Decision-Making Lab, Dr Sander van der Linden  has collaborated with The Economist, to develop an online course  for young people in UK primary and secondary schools to help teach them how to spot 'fake news'.
