Churchill alumnus, Osvaldo Gómez Martínez (G10, Land Economy) has been named one of the 40 under 40 Latinos working in Foreign Policy by The World Post.
This inaugural list by The World Post — a partner of The Huffington Post, names young Hispanics to watch in the realm of foreign policy and international affairs.
Osvaldo was a Gates Millennium Scholar at Churchill and was awarded a PhD in 2014, having previously completed a MA from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
Having worked as US diplomat at the Department of State, Osvaldo successfully negotiated US interests on political declarations and resolutions in five OAS Ministerials, four OAS General Assemblies and the 2012 and 2015 Summit of the Americas. Prior to this, he served as a multilateral affairs advisor for the US Department of State Bureau of Counterterrorism Office of Multilateral Affairs.
Osvaldo is currently partner and Head of Global Economics and Policy Innovation at Gobee Group — a social innovation design consultancy. Osvaldo has also been selected by the US-Spain Council to travel to Spain next month for their Hispanic Leaders program. The program aims to aquaint future Hispanic leaders in the United States with Spain’s political, economic, social and cultural realities.
