“Since winning the prize money from Churchill College Enterprise Competition, our entrepreneurial journey has expanded by engaging more with the entrepreneurial community in Cambridge. We have since applied to another competition in Cambridge namely the Hughes Hall enterprise competition in which we also took home the first prize. We also took part in the One Start competition organised by the Oxbridge Biotech Roundtable in which we were nominated in the final 10 from the 350 competitor’s world-wide (excluding the Americas).
We have had a lot of positive feedback and we understand that people are interested in our concept. We are now at the stage of complementing and finalising the patent assignment for the invention. We are now in the position where we have two joint partners as the patent inventors. Currently, we are looking to apply next January for public NHS funding to fund a proof-of-concept development. We had an exceptional guidance and support from our mentors and we are very grateful for the support that we have been given at Churchill College.”
