Gallery of images showing the building of our new student accommodation. Cowan Court will provide on-campus accommodation for 68 more Churchill students, including 3 rooms specifically designed for disabled students.
The timber frame of Cowan Court is now going up rapidly with the rather odd site of the plastic wrapped pre-fabricated bathroom pods inserted in each floor as each level is reached.
The building is rapidly taking shape and by the end of next term will have its roof and walling in place. The court will be in operation by the time of next year’s alumni weekend in September.
Building the Future: 50th Anniversary Appeal
The Cowan Court building project forms part of the College’s 50th Anniversary fundraising appeal, which has so far raised more than £5 million towards the cost of this project. The College is continuing to fundraise for this project.
