From the 9–29 October the College ran its a dedicated Graduate Telethon and enjoyed wide-ranging conversations with over 300 Graduate alumni.

The aims of the campaign were to engage with and update our Graduate alumni community about recent and future events at Churchill and raise money for the Graduate Accommodation Project. We have been delighted by the support that the 2017 Graduate Telethon has received to date with over £40,000 already pledged from 90 donors; 68% of whom are first time donors to the College.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled with this project as I have spent 5 great years in Churchill College throughout my masters and PhD. Not only has the College been quite generous and supportive but it also always felt like home.”
— Dr Ahmed Elmezeini (G10)

Every penny pledged will have double the impact because one of our Graduate alumni, Tony Wild (G68, PhD Physical Chemistry) has generously offered to match fund, pound for pound, the first £50,000 of donations raised for the project. It is not too late to contribute to the campaign and double the impact of your gift! Find out more about the case for support and donate here.

The gifts pledged to support the Graduate Accommodation Project will help build a stronger graduate community and leave a lasting legacy for generations of student to come. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the campaign thus far for your support and commitment to Churchill; it really will make a difference to what our students and the College can achieve.
