The Boathouse is coming on apace as you can see from these recent photos. We hope to get possession so that we can install the boats and set up the Mays Rooms from 8 May 2016.

Combined Boathouse project build update April 2016

Some of improvements to the new Boathouse include:

  • a workshop  long enough to take an eight

  • warm and hygienic showers and changing facilities – including a hair dryer

  • a cox box charger unit in the Mays Room

  • a kitchen area for making coffee, tea and keeping drinks cold

  • the fitness room where we will have a bank of eight shared ergs

Alumni are invited to tour the new boathouse on 11June (the Saturday of May bumps) and during Association Weekend. Alumni are also warmly invited to join the Boat Club at their Mays Boat Club dinner taking place in the evening.
