Congratulations to Churchill postgraduate student, Owen Crawford (U&G15), who has been appointed as a Psych Star for 2019-2020 in a new one year scheme by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge of psychiatry, the scheme offers medical students with an interest and commitment to psychiatry mentoring and financial support for activities intended to increase awareness and knowledge of psychiatry.
Owen is one of only ten students nationwide to receive this appointment. In return, he will act as ambassadors for psychiatry within Cambridge.
Speaking about his appointment Owen said:
“I am very excited for the year ahead and am thrilled to have achieved this!”
