The Cowan Court building project is still on schedule for completion next summer. The roof is now being installed and by early next year the building will be weathertight.
Next to the building, the contractors SDC have set up a mock-up of the different elements of the build which gives a very clear impression of how the building will look when completed. The window seats in the North and West facing rooms will have wonderful views over the playing fields.
Building the Future: 50th Anniversary Appeal
Cowan Court will provide on-campus accommodation for 68 more Churchill students, including 3 rooms specifically designed for disabled students.
The building project forms part of the College’s 50th Anniversary fundraising appeal, which has so far raised more than £5 million towards the cost of this project. The College is continuing to fundraise for this project.
