From the 6–19 December 13 current students at Churchill were kept extremely busy in the 2016 Telephone Campaign Call room enjoying a wide range of wonderful conversations with over 600 alumni.
The aim of the campaign was to connect with our alumni community, build relationships and raise money for the core need of student support and it has been a huge success. We have been delighted by the support that the 2016 Student Support Telephone Campaign has to date received over £300K already pledged from 330 donors. This is a marvellous testament to the generosity of our alumni.
The gifts pledged to support the fund will help ensure that appropriate support can be provided for our students here and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the campaign thus far for your support and commitment to Churchill — it really will make a difference to what our students and the College can achieve. It is not too late to contribute to the campaign and you can find out more about the case for support and donate here.
Our student callers greatly enjoyed their conversations and gained a huge amount from the life experience of our alumni. We have also been delighted to receive positive feedback from many of those who participated in the campaign.
“Thank you for arranging Nick Taylor’s telephone call last Sunday. It was a real pleasure to talk with him – he’s an excellent ambassador for the College. Churchill College played a most significant role in my life and still keep in touch with a number of friends from those years –I’m delighted at the way the College has grown and developed”
