Now you can share in the excitement of the world premiere of Lady Randolph Churchill’s final (and hitherto unperformed) play Between the Devil and the Deep Sea.

Churchill’s mother’s commentary on divorce, written in the aftermath of the First World War, is a fascinating glimpse into a vanished era, but one which still has its fair share of contemporary echoes and resonances.

This one-off reading was directed and produced by Holly Dayton, who has also kindly supplied the attached copy of the script. It was performed in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre at Churchill College on Saturday 12 May, 2018.
