On Sunday 30 March 2014 Graham Pledger, Deputy Head of Grounds & Gardens, will achieve 50 years’ service.
Graham came to the College as a Trainee Groundsman on 30th March 1964. He is the first member of staff to achieve fifty years’ service and his long service was celebrated on 23rd March with a party in the Jock Colville Hall attended by nearly one hundred family members, current and former staff, alumni and Fellows, to thank Graham for his excellent work.
The College flag was also flown on that day to mark the significance of the occasion.
