Congratulations to Churchill Fellow Professor Simon Laughlin FRS, whose book ‘Principles of Neural Design‘, which he co-authored with Peter Sterling, has won a Prose Award for Excellence from the Association of American Publishers.
The Association give out a series of awards to the best books of the year in different categories, and Simon’s book scooped the Award for Excellence in Biological and Life Sciences.
Simon is Emeritus Professor of Neurobiology in the University Department of Zoology and he has been a Fellow of Churchill College since 1991.
